Daily SMH

Some of the outrageous things that go on in this world never cease to amaze me. I am no longer shocked by the things I hear, nor the things I see; well that's what I try to convince to myself of, but there will always be this one thing that will always make me sad and feel like there is no hope for this world. That is when I hear about things such as 7 yr old girl who gets ganged raped by more than 6 boy/men. Yes... 7 years old! When I first read this story my eyes seriously started to water, I just couldn't believe that people would be so sick as to rape a child. You're a grows ass man what the hell are you doing!!??! I'm sorry I have no pity for ANY individual that would take advantage of a sweet innocent child like that...... like, you cant get a girl that is of age? I'm just so confused about this. Well some of you might not know what I am talking about; well I am referring to the story of the little girl who was brought to a party by her older 15 yr old sister in which she ended up gang-raped by six boys/men. Originally her older sister brought her there because she told the guys ( who she just had sex with for money) that they could touch her sister, if they gave her more money...(O_O) ....so the pedophile perverts started off touching the SEVEN yr old girl and than began to rape her. The older sister is also being charged, which is good for her too, what would make you do something like that, at the age of 15 you now have a TON of common sense. I was reading an article and they were saying how the family was going through some tough times, and have been going through child services type issues, but I still don't see any justification to what this girl did to her sister. We all go through tough times at one point or another in our lives, its about how you handle it, or should I say how you were brought up to handle adversity.

On a lighter and more positive note, its good to hear that superstars like jay-z and ludacris, Russell Simmons as well as others, are stepping, up and heading a "Stop The Violence" rally in Trenton New Jersey this weekend. I really respect that, because these people have been given a "pass" to not care about what happens to the latter of people because of their status or bank account, and they still step up every-time. Hopefully this will open those eyes which are blinded by this world, and people will start realizing that it only takes one person to make one change in the world. And for those pedophile perverts, I hope they really realize how they affect that young girls life and her family while they rot in jail, that's just how i am feeling right now.
