Seven Blunders Of The World
If there is one man that I respect whose name is not God, it would probably have to be Mahatma Gandhi. He is a very wise man, and you can second that statement by studying him or even simply looking up quotes from him. The link I'm posting, is where he lists the "7 blunders of the world". Take a look at these and soak them in; it makes perfect sense....well at least to me anyways.... TUNE IN

On a lighter note check out Drake on Jimmy Kimmel very funny interview and very funny song ("tweet tweet") by Jimmy and Drake. At the end Make sure you watch Drake perform Over, and look at how his stage presence have changed from when we were first introduced to him. He has grown tremendously I also like the live band, it definitely helps him command a crowd which is one of the hardest things for a rapper to do...but uhhhh look for yourself and TUNE IN!!!

Racism is alive; they just be conceling it
I really want everyone to pay attention and watch this WHOLE video. I don't wanna give away that much about it, but this study basically proves about how people are seen in the eyes of the beholder. I'm not sure if I want to say that this is sad, because personally this is what I have known to be normal my whole life. It definitely doesn't make it right at all, but I'm just glad everyone gets to see this for themselves and make their own personal judgment as to how people conceal their bias or racist tendencies until they "abruptly appear" . We all are bias in someway about something, but this take it to another level. Check it out ...TUNE IN

Walk on Water
Yeah, I never thought this was possible either, (except for in the bible, when Jesus did it) and I am still a little skeptical now, But this video is damn sure convincing that it is possible for a human being in these day and times, to walk on water. Don't believe me? then check out this video these guys actually discovered a way to "walk on water" and it looks legit. The only thing that makes me a skeptic is that I am not there in person to witness this, because you know you can pretty much do anything with the video editing software that is out there these days. But you be the judge TUNE IN, COMMENT and tell me what you think. ~TEB

T u N e I n !!
Daily SMH
Some of the outrageous things that go on in this world never cease to amaze me. I am no longer shocked by the things I hear, nor the things I see; well that's what I try to convince to myself of, but there will always be this one thing that will always make me sad and feel like there is no hope for this world. That is when I hear about things such as 7 yr old girl who gets ganged raped by more than 6 boy/men. Yes... 7 years old! When I first read this story my eyes seriously started to water, I just couldn't believe that people would be so sick as to rape a child. You're a grows ass man what the hell are you doing!!??! I'm sorry I have no pity for ANY individual that would take advantage of a sweet innocent child like that...... like, you cant get a girl that is of age? I'm just so confused about this. Well some of you might not know what I am talking about; well I am referring to the story of the little girl who was brought to a party by her older 15 yr old sister in which she ended up gang-raped by six boys/men. Originally her older sister brought her there because she told the guys ( who she just had sex with for money) that they could touch her sister, if they gave her more money...(O_O) ....so the pedophile perverts started off touching the SEVEN yr old girl and than began to rape her. The older sister is also being charged, which is good for her too, what would make you do something like that, at the age of 15 you now have a TON of common sense. I was reading an article and they were saying how the family was going through some tough times, and have been going through child services type issues, but I still don't see any justification to what this girl did to her sister. We all go through tough times at one point or another in our lives, its about how you handle it, or should I say how you were brought up to handle adversity.
On a lighter and more positive note, its good to hear that superstars like jay-z and ludacris, Russell Simmons as well as others, are stepping, up and heading a "Stop The Violence" rally in Trenton New Jersey this weekend. I really respect that, because these people have been given a "pass" to not care about what happens to the latter of people because of their status or bank account, and they still step up every-time. Hopefully this will open those eyes which are blinded by this world, and people will start realizing that it only takes one person to make one change in the world. And for those pedophile perverts, I hope they really realize how they affect that young girls life and her family while they rot in jail, that's just how i am feeling right now. If you would like to read more on the story click HERE.

I want to Laugh I want to Cry
I was at training for work and I had to go to the bathroom; no i wont tell you about my bathroom experience but what I will tell you that while i was waiting for a man to come out the bathroom, I noticed a sign that said "free books". So my curiosity led me to look in the pile of books, in which I came upon a book called " I Want to Laugh I want to Cry". It's a book of poems about "woman's feelings" nonetheless I found a short poem called "Music Touches Feelings" I really enjoyed this poem and felt the same exact way about music as the lady who wrote the poem does. I will be posting some of her other work (Susan Polis Schutz) soon, but for now Tune IN!.
Music touches feelings
It is the melody of the heart,
the voice
of the Spirit.
It inspires some
to think of the past,
some to create
and some to cry.

FoRbEaRaNcE....
So I Graduated from Siena College last year, and about 6-7 months, later it finally hit me; no I didn't have an epiphany, it was that monster called Student Loans! So it came, times weren't as good as they could be, so i did what almost any person who is fresh out of college would do; IGNORE IT! I mean I didn't feel like they can just want their money that fast in that small increment of time, and plus, I haven't even found my career job yet! So yes I blew them off. Fast forward over 45 days in delinquency; a great friend suggested that if i didn't have the money (or didn't really feel like paying them just yet) that I should call them and talk to them, before they send my account to the creditors, she said then it will be to late to try to work things out with them. So I decided to take the wonderful advice in calling the people that I owed a total of 1,348.92 to, and spoke with a representative. What I found out really made me excited and anxious to share with everyone. Now I know that not everyone is in debt and not everyone ducks and dodges bill collectors, but I am here to tell you that there is an easier way to not pay your student loans when you just don't have the money (or don't feel like paying it, to be honest). Ok back to the story I told the lady my "situation" and she told me things that I really had no idea about, such as you get 60 months of forbearance (which means if your loans have been past due like mine were, they bring your account to CURRENT status) So if you owed 1,000 or more orrrr less and your account hasn't been sent to a credit bureau then you can request forbearance and you no longer owe that amount at that certain payment due date; IT DOESN'T DISAPPEAR you just brings your account to current status , and gives you a chance to basically "start over". You can request forbearance for up to 12 months at a time, which means you don't have to pay ANYTHING until that date, 12 months later ( this includes the time you were already delinquent). So am I losing you yet? Good, hoped that I wasn't! The only thing you must worry about during forbearance, is the interest that accumulates. They suggest you pay the interest for your time in forbearance so that it wont accumulate. phew, with that said I choose to go into forbearance just until august, then i will start paying my school loans again ( with this time actually paying) I would have used a total of 7 months of forbearance leaving me with 53 more months in my lifetime to use forbearance (which i will now use veryyy wisely). Also know that you can decrease how much your payment is a month but you cant do this while in forbearance you would have to cancel it, but no worries you can always request it again (forbearance) if you're going through hard times or ("going through hard times") 8-) Hopefully I have been clear enough for you. The moral of the story is to not get caught up in debt especially when there are tools such as forbearance you can use to really help you through. I shared this because I thought that this info could help at least one person out there, because I know if I would of seen this post, it would of definitely helped me. Please don't take everything I said and apply it to every loan company or bill collector, I am sure there are different procedures for different companies, the thought is to get you to asks the loan comapany what can be done to help you, instead of not paying your bill( don't forget to mention FORBEARANCE). Ok, on on last note, lets not get forbearance confused with deferment (that's a whole 'nother post) those are two different things, which are very similar, yea that sounds confusing enough already. Ok I am done, I hope this helps!

Soldier Of Love
As a kid I remember whenever the house was being cleaned, there was most likely some Sade in the background playing. It was always the most soothing, relaxing, peaceful, reposeful; I don't know how else I can say it to explain to you the state of mind it use to put me in as a child. Even to this day, Sade is played when I clean up my own house, or when I just feel like relaxingggg. We all remember "Sweetest Taboo, or "No Ordinary Love" and definitely "Smooth Operator" if not then you should definitely listen to those songs. It doesn't matter if you are a little on the younger side, because these are timeless songs which means, they will never grow old.
It is exciting to report that Sade after about 10 years has come out with a new album titled "Soldier Of Love" which has hit number one WORLDWIDE and has sold 501,000 copies in the first week. This is the testament that good music in fact does sale, especially because her album was leaked a good three weeks before her album actually released, and she still did excellent first week numbers. I have listened to the album, and guess what? she still has it, no doubt about it. So go and get that album, you wont be disappointed! (IMO)....

LETS MOVE!!!
If you don't already know, I am a big advocate for children, I have dedicated my life to helping them. They are our future, so it's pretty much a "no brainer" to me , and it has been so all my life. So, when I see someone in power such as Michelle Obama, trying to make a difference in the lives of children, it really brings a smile to my face, especially knowing that someone out there cares, for their health , their upbringing, and more importantly their FUTURE. It brings the greatest intrinsic value to me knowing that I can help the future one child at a time, one day at a time, and even more joy knowing that you can too! So with that said I want you to take a look at this campaign Michelle Obama is running called "Lets Move" which focuses on raising a healthier generation of kids, you get to get a gist of all the wonderful people like athletes, doctors, nutritionist out there who really care and are getting involved, hopefully it'll encourage you to help make a difference in your community...LETS MOVEEE. Its a short video and it tells what the program is about and how it will help thousands of children. TUNE INNN

This one is for my MAC users!
I know from personal experience that having duplicate songs, is by far the WORST. Especially when you want to just play an album straight through, and you cant because the same song plays over and over. Well no more worries this application from Doug's apple scripts called Dupin takes care of that very problem; yes by getting rid of the duplicate songs in your iTunes! Now beware, you have to read the directions, cause it's not an easy application to use, you have to read how to use it. I hope it works for you!
With Dupin you can:
- Quickly find all sets of duplicate iTunes tracks based on your choice of criteria
- Select the "Keeper" tracks from among a number of duplicates automatically using a variety of versatile filtering options
- NEW in v2.x - consolidate the play, skip, and ratings information from all tracks in a Dupe Group to the single "Keeper" track
- NEW in v2.x - re-populate iTunes playlists replacing "non-Keeper" tracks with "Keeper" tracks
- Purge duplicate tracks from iTunes and send files to the Trash
- Manage intentionally duplicated tracks
- Copy tracks to new iTunes playlists
- View duplicates in non-loaded libraries created with iTunes' multiple library feature or iTunes Library Manager
- View duplicates in iTunes libraries on other machines on your local network
- Sort tracks and view track info
- Export a list of duplicates to a text file
- Locate tracks in the Finder and in iTunes
- Audition tracks

And then you have this ignorance....
Mike Greenberg from the Mike and Mike morning show starts off his show by saying "talking football with you on this" "martin luther COON" day, and then tries to correct himself. Can we say Freudian slip? Whatever it may be, he should suffer some sort of consequence for this. He has a lot more responsible, especially being on a big network like ESPN. I don't care if he racist or not, I'm saying just keep your ignorant thoughts to yourself; ESPECIALLY on an important day like this. That's all I am going to say about that topic!

Happy Martin Luther King Day!
"If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live." ~MLK
I really don't know where to start with this. I feel so many people, minorities in particular take for granted what this day really means (including myself). I don't think people really understand what Martin Luther King stood for, or realize the impact he had on society today. We are all ignorant to some extent, when it comes to this topic; but that doesn't mean we can't educate ourselves so that we may have a better understanding of what this day really means (no, not just a day off of work). I am posting a few links to help educate yourself. I am always finding out something else Martin Luther King Jr. has done for my generation; no it doesn't get old. So take this time out and look at some of these links, and learn something new about MLK. Take the time out to watch his most famous "I Have A Dream" speech, go ahead, I mean it is his day and all, and I'm pretty sure you have the day off of work because of him 8). Please gives these websites a look. I really like the intro to the first website, it is "automatically inspiring!" HAPPY MLK DAY!

As I was reading the article it was funny to see that my man Bonzi Wells was playing for the same team last year, and took a vacation never to come back, smh and LOL at the same time. 10 Cover songs that are better then the original....
4. Matt Weddle / Hey Ya!
Original: OutkastOutkast’s ubiquitous hit single Hey Ya! received a delicate folk makeover courtesy of Obadiah Parker frontman Mat Weddle in 2006. His open mike cover was uploaded to YouTube and quickly went viral, garnering millions of views in just a few months. Even though Andre 3000’s version was a smash hit single, spent months in the top 5 and won a Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative performance, Weddle coaxes out the central heartbreak of the song that was obscured by the original’s pop sensibility.

For my computer "nerds"
"This webpage explains how to liberate content from its DRM prisons, so that it can be copied, transcoded, and enjoyed in any platform. You should only have to buy content once at most: Once you buy a DVD, you should be able to watch that movie on your laptop, on your iPod, and on your PSP, without needing the original disc. So ripping a DVD is legal, but the DRM gets in the way. Similarly, once you buy a song or video from iTunes, you should be able to enjoy that song in any device, including a Zune or a PSP, and you should be able to watch that video on your DVD player or your PSP - but, again, the DRM gets in the way of transcoding that content into files that can be played by devices other than iPods and the computer you bought them on"

Ignorance & Sports
Where do i start with this whole Gilbert Arenas incident. Well at first I was on his side, when he said that he brought the guns to the facility because he just had a baby and didn't want guns in his house. Ok cool, thats respectable, but then he acts like he doesnt care about what he did and jokes around by taking a picture pointing his hands like guns, for the world to see, and this is After he released the apology statement saying how guns arent anything to play around with blah blah blah. The point is that he is a role model for a lot of young children, and thats the only problem i really have with this whole situation. I dont care about the personal aspect of the situation, but when you are in a position like he is, i just feel you have to be a little smarter. BUT to each his own!
